A new study from the Copenhagen University Hospital Gentofte in Denmark has stated that certain levels of calcium in combination with Vitamin D now has more backing in its role in improving and maintaining bone health. This suggests that there is a possible link between the reduction in elderly hip fractures and this combined supplement.

This new study found a 20% fall in the rates of hip damage in older people. While one should try and consume these essential vitamins and minerals as part of a balanced diet, supplementation may still be in order.*
